Free the People Movement

FTP is a collective movement working to mobilize and organize members and/or non-members of African/colonized organizations to points of unified thoughts and action for the liberation and self-determination of our people. Minister of Defense Huey P. Newton of the Black Panther Party state that the people learn through "observation and participation." So with that in mind we not only "talk the talk", but we "walk the walk". FTP is a revolutionary movement working to put the power back in the hands of the people, so that we the people can control our own destiny. FTP is against capitalism, imperialism, and all other by products of global white supremacy. We work towards communalism (African scientific socialism) and nation building. FTP is not one of those "deep" movements or organizations that waste time rappin, jawjapping and not producing any action.

FTP has teamed up with the The Talking Drum Collective and a number of other action oriented organizations and adapted a "do for self" attitude for the people. Some of the programs FTP has successfully launched and have in effect are:
