Luisa's bio
From Social Justice Wiki
I was born and raised in Texas and lived in Arizona, California, and New Mexico before moving to NYC a couple years ago. I worked as a journalist at a couple independent alt weeklies for a few years, and I still do a little freelancing while in school. Now, I'm working on my M.A. in American Studies concentrating on politics and ethnicity, subjects I hope to write about when I get back to the world of journalism. In the meantime, I work for Community Impact, an independent non-profit housed in Earl Hall that does service work in CU's surrounding neighborhoods. It's a great organization that NEEDS MORE SUPPORT FROM THIS WEALTHY UNIVERSITY! But that's just my opinion...
