From Social Justice Wiki
Shaw Natsui, '05-'06, is a second-semester senior at Harvard College. Leaving the warm weather of south Florida, he has spent the last four and a half years involved in community-based work and organizing in Boston, predominantly with young people but also in affordable housing advocacy. Shaw is the outgoing (lameduck) President of the Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA), a student-run non-profit working in partnership with local communities for social change. He loves PBHA, and especially the kids and teens he considers family and has known longer than any current undergrad he knows at Harvard.
Shaw took the Fall 2004 semester off from school to spend more time with family at home and also to work in two areas in Boston. One was with the Chinese Progressive Association, Mission Hill-based Dunk-the-Vote, and MassVOTEon voter registration and voter mobilization in Boston communities of color. Second, he worked with the South End / Lower Roxbury Youth Workers' Alliance and others to help build a Boston-wide network to address youth violence, critical summer youth employment for teens, and stable positions for youth worker employment in Boston. (United Youth Workers of Boston).
Shaw is not sure what's next come February. But he hopes to continue doing his thing. If you can get him a job, please drop him a line.
