"Wilson Sherwin" Is a native New Yorker who grew up in a sleepy community called TriBeCa. Before movie stars and their SUVs’ took over the neighborhood, she spent her childhood walking home from the park barefoot and calling out her window to friends who lived next door.
Wilson was raised by craaazy cool parents—a white mama who grew up all over West Africa and a DC bred black papa. In Highschool Wilson fell in love with radical, feminist, liberation politics and hip hop as an attempt at reconciling feeling like a mixed girl trapped in milky skin and blue eyes. She now attends Barnard College and lives in the Sugar Hill section of Harlem.
